It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. — Galatians 5:1 (NIV)
Why do so many people see faith as something that confines rather than something that refines and frees? Why do so many people see faith as something that keeps people from living instead of that which truly ushers in true life?
Could it be that we Christians have failed to portray true faith, that kind of faith that leaves us empowered and reliant on Christ all at the same time? The kind of faith that actually ushers in life rather than killing life within us?
Everyone on the planet worships something. Whether a person believes in God or not, every person worships. But what is that object of worship doing for them? Is it something that frees or bounds. Does it bring release or just keep in bondage?
