There are over 250,000 migrant domestic workers in Lebanon who are discriminated against, suffering from verbal, physical, economic, and emotional abuse. They are victims of the Kafala system, a type of modern-day slavery, where private citizens have complete control over their employment and immigration status. Many of these workers come with guarantees of pay but receive very little or none. Your help will provide food parcels with basic staple items, an opportunity to get skills training and assistance with immigration issues.
